During September and October, we carry a wide selection of pumpkins and gourds in every shape, size, and color to make your fall decorating unforgettable. From classic orange jack-o’-lantern types to white “ghost” pumpkins, knobby heirloom varieties, and petite decorative gourds, there’s something for every porch, patio, and table centerpiece. Many customers enjoy mixing and matching colors and textures to create layered, eye-catching displays that last all season long.
The key to pumpkin longevity is proper care once you bring them home. Always keep pumpkins out of direct sun and away from heat sources, as warmth causes them to soften and break down more quickly. Place them in a shaded, cool, and well-ventilated spot to extend their freshness. If you’re carving pumpkins, do so as close to Halloween as possible. Decorative, uncarved pumpkins and gourds can easily last 8–12 weeks with proper care, carrying you through the entire Fall season.
