Black Thai Banana (Musa balbisiana ‘Black Thai)

This exceptional fruiting Banana tree gives a dramatic look to any poolside or patio, with an almost black stem and large, lush foliage. Its fruit are inedible, but they lend lots of interest and are a conversation starter. Hardy if provided protection. It likes full sun and can grow to 18′ tall.
